| Personal Empowerment (Power Pause) This signature workshop empowers participants with advanced techniques from around the world, which can help them to cope with every kind of external challenge. . Participants will learn and try out tips and techniques to antidote immediate symptoms of stress as well as learn a regular practice , which if sustained, will guarantee a level of wellness they may never, yet, have experienced. A level of wellness, which will allow them to make choices that can bring a paradigm shift in their lives. This is NOT merely a stress-management intervention but a profoundly holistic program that touches on physical, mental and emotional well-being It has the potential to make participants look at life differently: with passion, zest and enthusiasm. Read more on Power Pause Understanding Self and Others A Personality Typing Methodology is an excellent tool to understanding yourself and others and through this a lasting solution for better team bonding, effectiveness, and improvement in relationships at all levels. Understanding Conflict Conflict - an inability for two people to understand or get along with each other- arises anywhere there are two people! While there are many tools prescribed to resolve conflicts, we believe the basic one is never taught: an understanding of why conflicts get created in the first place. We do this in a highly interactive manner. Through the telling of a story, participants choose certain characters that they identify with. In groups they then “defend” these characters in the face of criticism from the rest of the group. Participants experience the “rightness” of their own spaces and inability to move from them or explain their chosen spots fully to others. By the end of the exercise they begin to understand why this is so: The Iceberg Theory outlines how deeply held values and beliefs prevent us from seeing another's point of view and thus lead to inner and outer conflicts. Often this understanding alone profoundly “shifts” the way people perceive each other in the workplace or at home. A great exercise for any team or group that wishes to work harmoniously together. Along with the Enneagram, this exercise can work wonders. Developing Effective Communication A module which uses various experiential and fun activities to demonstrate how communication gets distorted and what can then be done to remedy it. The module includes inculcating Listening Skills, Reading Body Language, and the actual practice of effective, direct communication. Assertiveness is also focused upon, with actual formats being taught to perfect it. A very valuable module that can be useful for all managers. For those actually into making presentations regularly, other techniques including Mind Maps, as well as a tool to remove apprehensions and fear before a presentation can be included. Developing Team Synergy Getting a group of people together to synergize and become a team is the need at every workplace. Synergy implies taking responsibility, pro-activity, participation and above all, ownership for the task at hand. Communication is a must as is the ability to understand the importance of each person's contribution. Through a highly interactive activity that presupposes all these factors, in a very short time, all these dynamics come into play. Understanding & Achieving Consensus Achieving genuine consensus is the foundation of a solid team that can achieve any target set for it. Through a highly absorbing activity, participants pitch personal priorities and agendas against the team agenda. In actuality, they “fight” to come to consensus. As they do, various dynamics that simulate what would be happening at the workplace come into play. At the conclusion, these are highlighted, and detailed processing offers an understanding of what happens when each member's buy-in is not obtained and people are pushed to move rather than taken along. An essential and very valuable experiential learning for all managers. Understanding the Purpose-Process-People Interface This is experiential emotional intelligence. Teams are given a task that involves envisioning, strategizing, planning and executing a task. The resources are limited and the atmosphere highly competitive. The manner and methodology involved shows immediate results and a detailed facilitated discussion drawn from the participants experiences forcefully makes the point: No vision to achieve, lack of creativity and inefficient use of resources, human and otherwise, makes for mediocre results. The Purpose-Process-People- interface becomes clearly visible. Understanding The Power of Beliefs This activity exposes participants to an area they may never have been exposed to: the fact that beliefs embedded in the sub-conscious mind actually create your reality and so what you believe you can do, is what you do. The potential of this activity therefore to make a paradigm shift in the way people work, set targets or deal with other team members is phenomenal. Just this understanding alone can “solve” many problems and help people cross many hurdles. The connection of relating aspirations to fulfillment quotient, another sadly neglected area, is also highlighted This is a powerful session that highly motivates participants and makes them feel in charge of manifesting their dreams. Understanding Cause and Effect How many people are truly aware what the consequences of each action can be? This session focuses on a very crucial “law” that governs all interactions: what you give is what you get. Even though participants are visibly offered a solution that benefits all, in no time at all, they begin to try to outsmart each other, focus on personal gain at the expense of others, and to win at any cost. Is this not the scenario presently prevailing at the workplace too? Values like trust, the greater good, and the ability to see a bigger picture are all jettisoned in the name of “success”. This also does not finally come! The activity is transformative, profound and one of the most impactful ways of imparting some very basic human values without giving lectures! Outdoor Team Building Games We set up a number of activities in which teams are given varied tasks to fulfill. Right before your eyes, teams come together to achieve them, using creativity, leadership skills (or the lack of them!), out-of-the-box thinking, strategizing and planning. Every aspect of team dynamics comes into play and is thoroughly processed after. Since the activities are outdoor, the atmosphere is one of fun, interaction, bonding and experiential learning. After repeated efforts in which many groups come to an embarrassing stuck position, they come to the realization that collaboration, not competition is the only solution. A facilitated discussion guides them to reflect on how this might mirror reality at the workplace. Adventure Activities We help organize these activities with the support of trained professionals. Participants stretch and break comfort zones as they attempt Rock Climbing, Rappelling and River crossing in a spirit of fun and adventure.
